Meet Rose the BNP Realtors intern

For our 4th time, BNP has hired a summer intern!

Rose is  just starting her third week of her summer internship at BNP and she's doing great work!

So far she has:

  • Worked for days beside Grace (shown with her, above) on developing a social media template portfolio and scheduling system

  • Calculated and built the Bellingham price appreciation table shown above

  • Researched and built a spreadsheet with all 43 attorneys' names and contact info who have handled a local probate case since August 2021

  • Attended the monthly Realtor's Association meeting with me and about 200 local Realtors, lenders, builders, and title and escrow officers from throughout the County

  • Maintained a daily "check the office kitchen and trash for clean-up" routine

  • And at least a dozen other things I'm forgetting right now.

If you haven't already checked it out, read the post titled "What is the NEW Goal of the BNP Realtors Internship?"

Let's get Rose's insights on a few quick questions following her short time at BNP...

Q: Rose, if your closest friend asked what it's like to be at BNP so far, what would you say?

A: I have been asked about this and I say that it’s great! I say that so far I’ve been immersed in a lot of different aspects of the real estate world, the people I get to work with are super awesome, and as far as work goes, it’s great!

Q: I know it's been less than 2 weeks, but name one thing you know now about the inner workings of a real estate firm that you didn't know before?

A: I didn’t know a lot of the other things that go into real estate other than selling houses. There are A LOT more people involved than meets the eye and everyone is crucial - down to the guy that goes around and puts for sale signs up (Marvin I think it is?)

Q: At the end of the day, who is really in charge at BNP?

A: While you (Brandon) own the firm and seem to make most of the decisions regarding the firm, Grace’s decisions definitely hold equal weight and she seems like a partner to me! On top of that, each agent is for the most part in charge of themselves.

Thanks Rose! It will be fun to see how the summer unfolds in regard to your work and learning.
