Puget

Puget

If you want a neighborhood that has it all, then Puget is the place for you! With a variety of housing types, many with sweeping views of the City, Bay, and Canadian mountains, proximity to downtown Bellinngham, a sports complex, and shopping center, Puget contains just about everything you’d need. There are lots of single family homes with multi-family residences throughout the neighborhood, and an industrial zone to the north. Also on the northern edge is Civic Field where residents use the public facilities to recreate. This includes the baseball field, track/football/soccer stadium, bike pump track, skate park, walking trails, and Sportsplex indoor ice rink and soccer field. Many high school soccer and football games take place on the Civic Field, and athletes of all ages run on the track for fun, fitness, or training.

Lots of work on the Lakeway shopping center yielded the addition of a Whole Foods and improvement on the infrastructure. The shopping distric is also home to Fred Meyer and numerous other local businesses and restaurants. Most errands in Puget are accomplished by car, although there are plenty of walking trails that connect the neighborhood to the wider city. The Whatcom Creek Trail is a four mile loop that connects Civic Field to Whatcom Falls park and winds around the heart of Bellingham. Downtown Bellingham is right next door to Puget with even more shopping and recreation opportunities. Many who are employed in the downtown choose Puget as their home.

Puget is an excellent neighborhood for a wide variety of potential residents and continues to excel with its recreation and shopping options. Contact me today to get started on making Puget your home!
