Word for word video transcript
Hey everyone, Brandon Nelson, and in one minute I'm going to show you how to make chocolate covered bacon topped with crumbled bacon. Here's what you need: some bacon and some chocolate and a little bit of coconut oil.
First Step: fry up some crispy bacon. It's nice and crispy, go ahead and pull the pieces off and we're going to set them over to cool. As the bacon is cooling down, we're going to go ahead and melt our chocolate in a saucepan. Okay, I like to start off by putting a little bit of coconut oil in the saucepan that helps the chocolate melt really nicely. Then I'm going to go ahead and pour in my dark chocolate chips. Now that chocolate just starts to melt right away, so I'm just stirring it. I've got it over medium heat. Now look how nice and creamy that is—that's only been on the stove for about a minute.
Okay, the chocolate's melted and ready. Now we're going to grab a couple pieces of bacon and mince it up as our topping. All right, we've got a second plate ready with some wax paper. Now we're going to drop them in and gently tumble them around in that chocolate to make sure they get all covered. Now we're going to cover our chocolate covered bacon with crumbled bacon. After about 10 minutes in the fridge, we're going to pull it out and bam, ready to eat.
This has been Brandon Nelson for 1 minute. I'll see you next time.
