1. Back out all the screws holding the old doorknob together.
2. Take the old doorknob and latch apart.
3. Install the new latch, ensuring it pops right in.
4. Line up the three pins on the new knob with the holes on the latch and slide the knob through.
5. Line up the square hole in the middle of the second knob with the square shaft.
6. Line up the screw holes.
7. Back the knob off a little bit from the door to start the screws.
8. Finish fastening the screws with the screwdriver until the doorknob is securely fastened.

Hey everyone Brandon Nelson and in one minute I'm going to show you how to replace a door knob door knobs are easier than you think to work on they're held together by screws we're just going to back all these out take this apart all the screws are taken out this comes apart and then that latch just pops right out installing the new door knob is exactly the opposite the first thing that goes in is the latch that pops right in these three pins on the new knob line up with those holes on the latch and it slides right through this knob that square hole in the middle lines up that square shaft and then we just line up the screw holes I'm going to back it off a little bit from the door so I can see to get these screws started and then I'll finish them off with the screwdriver okay door knob is fastened I'm going to put the screws in to the latch plate so last thing we'll do is replace the strike plate so it matches the door on all right it's all fastened let's give it a test bam this home is going to get a brand new look with this oil rubbed bronze finish this has been Brandon Nelson for 1 minute I'll see you next time
